This is by far, the best treasure in my embroidery room, and that includes my embroidery machines. It is made with a lot of hard work and a lot of love, by my hubby, Denis, who is a web designer and not a carpenter.

First I just wanted a cotton board - So one day I went into his garage with my board, took the drill and was just about to start drilling when he walked in.
"Whatever are you up to?" he asked.
I explained, and he simply said "Let me do it for you".
Phew!, was I relieved. I did not look forward to drilling the 340 holes, that was marked out. I got to mark the dowel sticks, and he cut them.

Proud as punch, my cotton board was put up, fastened to the wall at  just the right height.

but - many months later, because of constant dust, and shedding of material such as towels and t-shirts, I expressed my wish that this would need to be a cabinet, with glass in the doors - for me to see the cotton..
Denis is great, although this is something he has never done before,  without further ado he went and got the necessary timber, got the glass and turned the cotton board into a cabinet.

Everyone else that has asked him to make one, he simply replies

"Sorry, - That is a labor of love "

Denis, Thank You and I love You.
